Betty June Williams, 85, of Amarillo, Texas passed from this life on August 27, 2020.

A celebration of Betty’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 5 th , at the First Baptist Church in Allen, Oklahoma.

She was born on December 18, 1934, in Allen, Oklahoma to Monroe “Hi” and Ruby (Estes) Whitehead. She lived most of her life in Allen and Gerty, Oklahoma, and moved to Amarillo in 2012.

She married Carl Williams in Ada, Oklahoma on December 19, 1953. Together they had three children, Carla Denise, Barbara Ann, and Glenn Eric. Betty had one more son, Gary Rich.

Betty attended nursing school to be a Licensed Practical Nurse in Oklahoma. She completed her education in 1971. She worked as an LPN at the Jan Francis Nursing Home. She also worked for Valley View Hospital in Cardiac Intensive Care and the Chickasaw Nation Hospital, all in Ada, and retired in 1990.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Hi, and a half-brother, Harold Lee Whitehead.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Carla Denise Cantrell, of Amarillo, Texas, Barbara Ann Fasarella of Ada, Glenn Eric Williams, of Allen, and Gary Rich, from Florida. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews. She loved her family so very much.

Betty was deeply loved by her family and she will be dearly missed.
