The Allen Masonic Lodge will be holding a Mother’s Day dinner this Sunday, May 12th. This is a fundraiser with money raised being used to fund scholarships for Allen seniors. The dinner of pork cutlets and sides will be served in the Lodge building from 11:00 to 2:00 pm. There will not be a charge for the meal but donations will be accepted.

Sherry Hinkle, 62, of Allen, Oklahoma went to be with her heavenly father on May 3, 2024 peacefully in her sleep. Sherry was born December 21, 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas to her parents Ramona Jo Cabral and Johnny M Cabral. Sherry was raised in Crowell, Texas by her mother and her step-dad Avis (Al) Sibert, where her parents ran a cafe and Sherry attended school.
