Varsity Girls finished their game against Community with a final score of 46 – 33. Girls Athletic Coordinator and Head Girls Basketball Coach Jason Wallen said that the win was hard fought but not without a few uncharacteristic moments during the game.

“Kind of a sloppy game in which we did some uncharacteristic things and turned the ball over more than normal,” said Wallen. “We also missed a few looks at the rim that could have created separation early.  However, I will give it to our kids, they fought hard, and did a good job in the 2nd and 3rd quarters to build a lead that we were able to hang onto.”

Notable scorers in the game included Ashley Todd with 17 points, Madison Harrison with seven points, Autumn Wallace with five points, Sofia Garcia with three points, Allysen Warden with six points, Alexis Zito with two points and Braileigh Deaver with six points.
